For over 30 years he worked at Independent Stave and Bourbon Cooperage. In his spare time, you would often find him fishing or hunting. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was the son of the late James Blaine & Hannie "Dellie" Feese Watson. He leaves 21 direct living descendants.

William Robert "Bob" Watson, age 85, of Lebanon, KY, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at his home after an illness.

Funeral Services for William Robert "Bob" Watson will be Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, with Bro. Charles Blevins officiating. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, on Friday, June 16, 2017 with burial to follow in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Casket bearers are Josh Williams, Chris Williams, Rance Watson, Justin Watson, Robbie Watson and Matthew Salyer.



William Robert (Bob) Watson, 85, Marion Co., KY/Adair Co., KY native (1932-2017)


Bob was born June 4, 1932, in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late James Blaine & Hannie "Dellie" Feese Watson. He died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, in Lebanon, Marion County, KY, at the age of 85 years, 10 days.

Also preceding him in death, besides his parents, were a brother, Walter Christian Watson and two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Watson Gossett and Cordie Lee Watson Thompson.

For over 30 years he worked at Independent Stave and Bourbon Cooperage. In his spare time, you would often find him fishing or hunting. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He married Lillian Ethel Davis and to this union were born four daughters and two sons, Sharon Watson Salyer of Cox's Creek, KY; Robert Watson and his wife Kathy of Louisville, KY; Sandra Watson Strong and her husband James of Lebanon, KY; William W. Watson and his wife Robin of St. Joe, KY; Charlene Watson Williams and her husband Michael of Lebanon, KY; and Vickie Watson of Shepherdsville, KY. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 10 great grand-children.
