Wendell Gale Scott, age 63 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at . Wendell was born on December 28, 1953 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Kermit Helden Scott and Mildred Louise Rose Scott.

Funeral Service for Wendell Gale Scott will be Friday, June 16, 2017 at 1pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with burial in the Scott Family Cemetery. The family requests visitation, 4pm-9pmCT, Thursday, June 13, 2017at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

Wendell Gale Scott was born on December 28, 1953 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of the late Kermit Helden Scott & Mildred Louise Rose Scott. He died Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at the age of 63 years, five months, and 16 days./

He was a former truck driver for Manning Motor Express and a bricklayer.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Kathy Willis Scott of Burkesville, KY

  • Three children: Craig Scott and his wife Rebecca, Tessa Castillo and her husband Chris, and Alonna Cyphers and her husband Randall all of Burkesville, KY

  • Three sisters: Connie Adams and her husband Heyward, Judy Craft and her husband Ricky, and Janet Grubb and her friend Denton Walker all of Burkesville, KY

  • Ten grandchildren: Cameron Scott, Jordan Scott, Jarrett Johnson and his wife Brianna, Vanessa Finley and her husband Caleb, Erika Johnson, Raelin Castillo, Noah Castillo, Harley Cyphers, Aubrey Cyphers, and Garrett Cyphers

  • One great grandchild: Avery Finley

  • Special cousins: Darrell Rose and Larry York

  • and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
