By Ed Waggener The Adair Fiscal Court made teeny upward adjustments in pay schedules for non-elected officials at last night's regular session, Tuesday, June 13, 2014. The court seems to be coming to grips with the reality that low-pay, high turnover is costly for taxpayers. All magistrates present CJE Michael Lee Stephens, voted to affirm the recommendation of Treasurer Melinda Quinn, who had been given the job of evaluating what could be done within current revenue projections.
