Comer: On horrific shooting Congressional Baseball Practice From Michael Gossum, Communications Director Congressman James Comer (KY-01) WASHINGTON, DC (Wed 14 Jun 2017) - Congressman James Comer is not on the Congressional Baseball Team, so he was not at the practice where the shooting occurred. The Congressman released the following statement following today's horrific events. "Our thoughts and prayers are with Congressman Steve Scalise and the others wounded in the cowardly shooting this morning.
