(Fri 2 June 2017. 8:11amCT/9:11ET) - Columbia Fire Department is fighting fire at Burger King in the Walmart Shopping Center on Burkesville Road, Columbia, KY and the restaurant is temporarily closed. We'll have more here on CM and on broadcasts from The WAVE, FM 92.7 and The Big Dawg, FM 99.9, as it becomes available.

Fire closes Columbia Burger King temporarily Fri 2 Jun 2017

Larry Smith, FM 99.9 The Big Dawg, alerted us this morning that the Columbia Fire Department was called out to Burger King and the business was, for an indefinite period this morning, closed. Units from the Columbia Fire Department, Columbia Adair County Utilities District and the Columbia Police Department were all on the scene, when this photo was taken at around 8:15amCT, today, Friday, June 2, 2017. - EW
