Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 30 May 2017

Indictments brought against 19 individuals from Campbellsville, Bethelridge, Greensburg, and Elizabethtown, KY, and Jeffersonville, IN, on charges including murder, assault, burglary, possession, theft, sexual acts with a minor, tampering with evidence, domestic violence, DUI, and wanton endangerment.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 30 May 2017:


  • Richard Hord (09/06/1962), Collins Ln., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00087. Charged with 6 counts. Count 1 - Attempted murder - domestic violence. Count 2 - Arson, 2nd degree. Count 3 - Assault, 2nd degree - domestic violence. Count2 4-5 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 6 - Resisting arrest. Bond set at $250,000 cash, no contact with victim, no weapons/firearms.

  • Davey Hooper (01/16/1980), Wethington Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00088. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - Public intoxication - controlled substance (excludes alcohol). Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no violations of the law or use of drugs or alcohol, no contact with complaining witness or location of offense.

  • Davey Hooper (01/16/1980), Wethington Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00089. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - Theft by unlawful taking under $500. Same bond as 17-CR-00088.

  • Maria Fajardo (03/27/1981), Greensburg Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00090. Charged with 10 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Wanton endangerment, 2nd degree. Count 3 - Possession of controlled substance, 3rd degree, drug unspecified. Count 4 - Drug paraphernalia - buy/possess. Count 5 - Possession of marijuana. Count 6 - Failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance/security, 1st offense. Count 7 - Operating a motor vehicle under influence alcohol/drugs w/.08 aggravator, 1st offense. Count 8 - No/expired registration plates. Count 9 - No/expired Kentucky registration receipt. Count 10 - Operating on suspended/revoked operators license. Bond set at $2,000 cash.

  • Joshua S. Blevins (04/17/1985), Rainwater Rd., Bethelridge, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00091. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Attempt unlawaful transaction with minor, 1st degree illegal sexual act under 16 years of age. Count 2 - Prohibited use of electronic communication systems to procure minor/peace officer re: sex offenses. Counts 3-5 - Distribute obscene material to minors, 1st offense. Bond set at $20,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Gretchen L. Edwards (07/12/1987), Howard School Rd., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00092. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia - buy/possess. Count 3 - Possession controlled substance, 3rd degree - drug unspecified. Count 4 - Controlled substance prescription not in original container, 1st degree. Count 5 - Public intoxication controlled substance (excludes alcohol). Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Joshua A. Milby (11/29/1986), Country View Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00093. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (heroin). Count 2 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 3 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 4 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 5 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Bond set at $20,000/10%.

  • Jason W. Keith (04/10/1986), Fallen Timber Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00094. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 2 - Illegal take/pursue deer/wild turkey. Count 3 - Taking game with firearm during bow season, 1st offense. Count 4 - Resident hunting/trapping without license/permit. Bond set at $1,000 cash.

  • Chasidy M. Milburn (08/28/1995), Howard St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00095. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Assault, 2nd degree. Bond set at $25,000 cash, no contact with victim, no weapons.

  • Antoine E. Brown (04/16/1982), Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00096. Charged with 10 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense - drug unspecified. Count 2 - Promoting contraband, 1st degree. Count 3 - Possession of marijuana. Count 4 - Failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security, 1st offense. Count 5 - Operating on suspended/revoked operators license. Count 6 - Inadequate silencer (muffler). Count 7 - No/expired registration plates. Count 8 - No/expired Kentucky registration receipt. Count 9 - Failure to wear seat belts. Count 10 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • Jeffrey Adam Dicken (01/26/1993), S. Court St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00097-001. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, >2g methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $2,000 cash.

  • Jeffrey Alan Dicken (07/13/1957), S. Court St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00097-002. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $1,000 cash.

  • Michael J. Chappell (05/19/1992), Legion Park, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00098-001. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, meth. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Endangering the welfare of a minor. Count 4 - Speeding, 18mph over limit. Count 5 - Failure to use child restraint device in vehicle. Bond set at $1,000 unsecured, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law, MCR testing 2 times per month.

  • Donald E. Cochran (09/19/1979), Sharon Dr., Jeffersonville, IN Indictment No. 17-CR-00098-002. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, meth. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Giving officer false name or address. Bond set at $500 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • Kimberly G. Wieszczyk (05/19/1992), Legion Park, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00098-003. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, meth. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Endangering the welfare of a minor. Bond set at $5,000 unsecured, no contact with complaining witness, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • Joshua D. Essex (05/21/1988), New Glendale Rd., Elizabethtown, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00099. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Marijuana cultivation, five or more plants, 1st offense. Bond set at $15,000/10%.

  • Edward Hicks (12/30/1973), John Minor Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00100. Charged with 8 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 3 - Drug paraphernalia - buy/possess. Count 4 - Operating a motor vehicle under/influence of alcohol/drugs etc, .08 aggravating circumstances, 1st offense. Count 5 - Operating on suspended/revoked operators license. Count 6 - Failure to notify address change to department of transportation. Count 7 - Reckless driving. Count 8 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Troy Everett Curry (05/14/1981), Anna Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00101. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Assault, 2nd degree - domestic violence. Count 2 - Assault, 4th degree - domestic violence - minor injury. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $15,000/10%, no contact with victims, no weapons.

  • Andy S. Akers (03/12/1975), Eggers St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00102. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition - firearm. Count 2 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others under $500. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $2,000 cash, no contact with victim.

  • Mary S. Belton (09/03/1990), Jim Brown Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00103. Charged with 3 counts. Counts 1-3 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Bond set at $3,000 cash.
