Francine Moore, 78 Columbia, KY/Goresbeck, Texas native (1939-2017)

She was a member of an outstanding South Central Kentucky family. She was the daughter of the late Frank & Christine Robertson Steele. Her husband, Winston Moore, survives. She leaves 13 direct living descendants, spanning three generations. She was a member of South Edmonton Church of Christ and attended Columbia Church of Christ for many years.

Francine Moore, 78, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 2:39amCT at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 26, 2017 at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Aaron Trimm officiating. Burial will be in Pierce Community Cemetery in Green County, KY. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Friday, at the funeral home.



Francine Moore, 78, Columbia, KY/Goresbeck, TX native (1939-2017)

She was born January 20, 1939, in Groesbeck, Limestone County, TX. She was the daughter of the late Frank & Christine Robertson Steele. She died Sunday, May 21, 2017, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 78 years, four months, and one day.

She was a member of South Edmonton Church of Christ and attended Columbia Church of Christ for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Tindell.

Survivors include:
  • Her husband: Winston Moore of Columbia, KY

  • Two sons: Matt Tindell and Jason Moore both of Waco, TX

  • Two daughters: Lisa Dams of Plainwell, MI, and Julie Edwards of Parker, CO

  • Three brothers: Russian "Cotton" Steele and Paul Steele both of Lott, TX; and Allen Steele of Glenwood Springs, CO

  • One sister: Brooksie Cook of Keller, TX

  • Seven grandchildren: Austin and Dylan Edwards, Stuart and Martin Dams, Aaron Tindell, and Percy and Orion Moore

  • Two great-grandchildren: Breanna and Gavin Tindell

  • Several other relatives and friends
