Nina Mae Short Curry, 78, of Horse Cave, KY, departed this life on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at her home.

The funeral services for Nina Mae Short Curry will be conducted at 12pmNoonCT, Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Neagle Cemetery. Bro. David Purichia will officiate. Visitation is requested after 9amCT, Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.

Nina Mae Short Curry of Horse Cave, KY, daughter of the late Ray Short & Nina Elmer Barnes Short, was born on June 25, 1938 in Hart County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at her home. She was 78 years, 10 months, and 21 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a self-employed linen service provider.

She united in marriage to Willard D. Curry on September 10, 1960 who preceded her in death on August 3, 1992.

Survivors include a daughter:
  • Clarissa E. Johns of Texas

  • A son: Garry Dean Curry of Texas

  • Three grandchildren: Garry D. "Deano" Curry, Cynthia "Cyndie" Keracik, and Amber I. Scott all of Texas

  • A brother: Leroy Steele of Alabama

  • and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
