Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments 12 May 2017

Indictments against 10 persons from Adair and Metcalfe Counties of Kentucky. Charges include receiving stolen property, burglary, possession of controlled substance (Meth and/or marijuana) persistent felony offender. Robbery. Fleeing or evading police, and complicity to commit various crimes.
NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Friday 12 May 2017:


  • LARRY DAVID TAYLOR (1/24/1980), Heather Lane, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00061. Charged with two counts. Count 1 - Receiving Stolen Property, $500 or more but less than $10,000. Count 2 - Persistent Felony Offender in the First Degree. Bail set at $2,500 cash. Arraignment 23 May 2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Britany Ann Durham (03/21/1990), Cane Valley Mill Road, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00063. Charged with five counts. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property - $500 or more but less than $10,000. Count 2 - Burglary in the Second Degree. Count 3 - Theft by Unlawful Taking/Disposition - $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 4 - Burglary in the Second Degree. Count 5 - Theft by unlawful taking/disposition - $500 or more but under $10,000. Bail set at $10,000 cash or 2x Property. Arraignment 23 May 2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Jordan Romaine Durham (01/01/1988), Cane Valley Mill Road, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00062. Charged with eight counts. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property - $500 or more but less than $10,000. Count 2 - Burglary in the Second Degree. Count 3 - Theft by Unlawful Taking/Disposition - $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 4 - Burglary in the Second Degree. Count 5 - Theft by unlawful taking/disposition - $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 6 - Possession of a controlled substance inthe first degree - first offense (Methamphetamine). Count 7 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Count 8 - Possession of marijuana.   • Shane Allen Bottoms (09/26/1985), Caldwell Ridge Road, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00064. Charged with five counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance in the first degree. First offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Possession of drug parphernalia. Count 3 - Criminal attempt to commit theft by unlawful taking/Disposition, $10,000 or more but less than $1,000,000. Count 4 - Criminal Trespass in third degree. Count 5 - Fleeing or evading police in the second degree (on foot) Bail set at $2,500 or 2x Property. Arraignment 23 May 2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Christine Marie Luttrell (07/03/1980), Butler Branch Road, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00065. Charged with three counts. Count 1 - Promoting contraband in the first degree. Count 2 - Possession of a controlled substance in the first degree - third or subsequent offense (methamphetamine) Count 3 - Public Intoxication. Bail set at $2,500 or 2x Property. Arraignment 23 May 2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Jonathan W. Grant (08/16/1989), S Hwy 55, Columbia, KY. Indictment No. 17-CR-00066. Charged with 12 counts. Count 1 - Robbery in the Second Degreeb. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender in the first degree. Count 3 - Theft by unlawful taking/disposition (auto) - $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender in the first degree. Count 5 - Fleeing or evading police in the first degree (motor vehicle). Count 6 - Persistent felony offender in the first degree. Count 7 - Wanton endangerment in the first degree (police officer). Count 8 - Persistent felony offender in the first degree. Count 9 - Wanton Endangerment in the first degree (police officer. Count 10 - Persistent felony offender in the first degree. Count 11 - Wanton Enganderment in the first degree (police officer). Count 12 - Persistent felony offender in the first degree.   • Jose Ignacio Molina (05/13/1992), Royal Oaks Court, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00068. Charged with three counts. Count 1 - Burglary in the first degree. Count 2 - Robbery in the first degree. Count 3 - Assault in the first degree. Bail set at $50,000 cash. Arraignment 23 May 2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Arthur Badillo (02/09/1995), 201 West Guardian Street, Columbia, KY. Indictment No. 17-CR-000x67. Charged with three counts. Count 1 - Burglary in the first degree. Count 2 - Robbery in the first degree. Count 3 - Assault in the first degree. Bail set at $50,000 cash. Arraignment 23 May 2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Jennifer Ann Gayde (a/k/a Jennifer Ann Lewis (10/06/1984), Williams Street, Columbia, KY. Indictment No. 17-CR-00069. Charged with three counts. Count 1 - Complicity to commit burglary in the first degree. Count 2 - Complicity to commit burglary in the first degree. Count 3 - Complicity ot commit assault in the first degree. Bail set at $25,000 cash. Arraignment 23 May 2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Jamie L. Scarborough (12/06/1987), Reece Hurt Road, Edmonton, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00070. Charged with three counts. Count 1 - Complicity to commit burglary in the first degree. Count 2 - Complicity to commit robbery in the first degree. Count 3 - Complicity to commit assault in the first degree. Bail set at $25,000 cash. Arraignment 23 May 2017 at 1pmCT.
