Janouise Thomas Swanson, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 in Hardinsburg, , KY surrounded by her family.

Funeral service for Janouise Thomas Swanson will be 1pmCT, Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Paul Roy officiating. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Friday. Interment will be in the Cedar Springs Cemetery.

She was born December, 12, 1933, in Casey County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Willie Madison & Edna Tarter Thomas. She died Monday, May 15, 2017, in Hardinsburg, Breckinridge County, KY, at the age of 83 years, five months and three days.

Survivors are:
  • Husband of 64 years: Albert Swanson

  • Three daughters: Debra Kinnerson Rosa Saettel, and Jennifer Humes

  • Eight grandchildren

  • Thirteen great grandchildren

  • Sister: June Wooldridge

  • Brother: Gerald Dale Thomas

  • Numerous nieces & nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Madison & Edna Tarter Thomas; a daughter, Lisa Blasi; a son, Joel Swanson; and a grandson, Aaron Saettel. Send condolences to the family of Janouise Thomas Swanson

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Billy Graham Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201. Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
