Roy F. Hawkins, 59, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Sunday May 14, 2017 at University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY.

Funeral Services for Roy Hawkins will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY Wed, May 17, 2017 11amCT, with Bro. Phillip Miller officiating. Friends may visit after 5pmCT, Tuesday May 16, 2017, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Jack Lawless Cemetery in Jamestown, KY.

Roy was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, January 7, 1958. He was a son of the late Mildred (Grant) & James M. Hawkins. He died Sunday, May 14 2017, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 59 years, three months, and seven days.

He was a supervisor at Stephens Pipe and Steel.

He is survived by:
  • His wife: Sandra (Wethington) Hawkins, of Jamestown, KY

  • One son: Brad Hawkins, of Russell Springs, KY<

  • Two daughters: Brandy Smith, of Jamestown, KY; and Tammy McGowan, of Russell Springs, KY

  • Step daughter: Patricia Miller, of Jamestown, KY

  • Five step sons: Steve E. Roy and Ricky A. Roy, of Jamestown, KY; Patrick Kimes, of Russell Springs, KY; Isreal Kimes, of Pensacola, FL; andIan Kimes, of Elizabethtown, KY

  • Brother: Timmy Hawkins, of Bowling Green, KY

  • Four sisters: Mary Oaks, of Columbia, KY; Fran Schott, of Russell Springs, KY; Vickie Wooten, of London, KY; and Ethel Hawkins, of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three grandchildren

  • Thirteen step grandchildren

  • Two step great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers James and Lyle Hawkins and two sisters Hulda Ballenger, and Martha Maynard.
