She was a native of Mishawaka, IN, and her final resting place will be there. Her husband, Clarence (Butch) Luke, survives.

Judith Anne Luke passed away at the age of 61 on May 10, 2017 at her home in Russell Springs, KY losing her battle with lung cancer.

Services will be held at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W 8th Street, Mishawaka, IN on Tuesday, May 17, 2017, at 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, with visitation two hours prior in the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.


Judith Anne Luke, 61, Russell Springs, KY/Mishawaka, IN native (1955-2017)

Judy was born Friday, July 22, 1955 in Mishawaka, St. Joseph County, IN. She was the daughter of Melvin and Doris Henson (Huff). She died Wednesday, May 10, 2017, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 61 years, nine months, and 18 days.

She grew up with three brothers, Melvin Ray Henson (Tori), Paul Henson, and Alan Henson (Robin).

She married and is survived by Clarence (Butch) Luke in August 1971. Survivors:
  • Husband: Clarence Lee Luke, Russell Springs, KY

  • Three children: Terry Luke, Indiana; Holly Luke, Russell Springs, KY; and Corey Christopher Luke, Russell Springs, KY

  • One grandchild: Tyler Luke

  • Mother: Doris Mae Huff, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two brothers: Melvin Ray Henson, Colorado, and Allan Henson, Russell Springs, KY
Family was Judy's top priority. She enjoyed any time spent with family and friends.

Judy believes friends are family and she leaves behind her lifelong best friend, and Godmother of her daughter, Kandis Miller, who has been there for all of Judy's life changing milestones, baptisms, marriages, children and was there for her at the end.

Judy was an amazing woman who was blessed to be able to love others children like her own. This includes her Goddaughters, Joy and Tracy Dermody as well as Joy's children, Ericka Johnson and Lauren Swihart (Stephen).

"Friends are family" was Judy's mantra. She touched many people's lives and leaves us all with a legacy of strength, love and laughter.
