For 5th year in a row, Softball Opening Round in Columbia

At Marilyn Sparks Park

COLUMBIA, Ky. - The NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round pairings were released on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, evening by the NAIA office. Lindsey Wilson earned the No. 1 seed in the Columbia (KY) Bracket and will host second-seeded Corban (OR), third-seeded Taylor (IN) and fourth-seeded Madonna (MI). The double-elimination Opening Round bracket of games is set to be played May 15-17, 2017 (Times TBA) at Marilyn D. Sparks Park, in the Lindsey Wilson Sports Complex, 928 Russell Road, Columbia, KY. It marks the fifth season in a row Lindsey Wilson has served as an Opening Round host institution. Lindsey Wilson has been tabbed a No. 1 seed for the third season in a row. The Blue Raiders have won their Opening Round bracket twice in the previous four years.
