William McQueary, 72, Middleburg, Casey County, KY native (1944-2017)

William was a Mental Health Counselor, a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era, 32nd degree Mason with the Masonic Lodge in Oakley, OH he is also 33rd Scottish Rite and a Syrian Shriner. His wife, Abby Gayle McQueary, survives. He leaves eight direct living descendants.

William McQueary, age 72, of Hustonville, KY passed away on Thursday May 4, 2017 at the V.A. Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held at 12pmCT/1pmET, Tuesday May 9, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Rev. Faron Owen officiating. Burial will be in the Buffalo Springs Cemetery, 630 KY Hwy 78, Stanford, KY. Stanford, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, Monday, May 8, 2017 and after 7am/8am on Tuesday May 9, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.


William McQueary, 72, Middleburg, Casey Co., KY native (1944-2017)

He was born in Middleburg, Casey County, KY on November 23, 1944 a son of the late William Arvil & Freida Lee Pike McQueary. He died Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the age of 72 years, five months, and 11 days.

William was a Mental Health Counselor, a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era, 32nd degree Mason with the Masonic Lodge in Oakley, OH he is also 33rd Scottish Rite and a Syrian Shriner.

Survivors include:
  • His spouse: Abby Gayle McQueary

  • Two children: Randall McQueary of Hustonville, KY; and Cynthia Diane Howard of Yosemite, KY

  • Six grandchildren

  • Two sisters: Virginia Joann Pike and Audrey McQueary Bastin both of Hustonville, KY

  • And several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death besides his parents was one brother: James Robert McQueary and One Sister: Cathy Pike.
