COLUMBIA, KY - (Wed 3 May 2017) - The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball program has added transfer student-athlete Anthony Isaac for the upcoming 2017-18 season, head coach Paul Peck announced on Wednesday.

"We are excited that Anthony has decided to become a Blue Raider, we have been looking for a young man like him for several years," Peck said. "He can do a variety of things on the court. Anthony goes full speed the entire game, is an excellent shooter both inside and outside, and is a great free throw shooter as well."

Isaac transfers to Lindsey Wilson from Frederick Community College in Frederick Maryland where he was coached by Emonte Hill. The 6-foot-5 Washington, D.C., native averaged 13 points and 10 rebounds per game for the Cougars while shooting 48.0 percent from the field, 38.0 percent from beyond the arc and 80.0 percent from the free throw stripe.

Isaac was a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 20 selection and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining with the Blue Raiders.

"We expect big things from Anthony and can see him being a leader both on and off the court," Peck said.
