Mary Elizabeth London Worley, 84, Center, KY (1932-2017)

She was a member of and matriarch of a very large, leading North Metcalfe County, KY, family. She was a homemaker and member of the Seven Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1607 Seven Springs Church Road, Center, KY. She was the daughter of the late Leon and Mildred Myers London and the widow of Raymond Worley. She leaves 38 direct living descendants, spanning four generations.

Mary Elizabeth Worley age 84 of Center passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Seven Springs Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation was from 5pmCT until 8pmCT, Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, and after 9amCT,Sunday at the church.



Mary Elizabeth Worley, 84, Center, KY (1932-2017)


Born July 13, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Leon and Mildred Myers London. She died Friday, April 28, 2017, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 84 years, nine months, and 15 days.

She was a homemaker and member of the Seven Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by:
  • Two sons: Tracy (Debora) Worley and Ricky (Donna) Worley all of Center, KY

  • Two daughters: Rhonda (Junior) Crain of Hardyville, KY; and Marsha (Gary) Hall of Fountain Run

  • Four sisters: Cora Emma Jessie of Sulphur Well, KY; Linda Thompson of Edmonton, KY; Anita Bass of Park, KY; and Rebecca Beard of Greensburg, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Twenty-two great-grandchildren

  • Two great-great-grandchildren
