Lindsey Wilson's Wyrick named MSC Men's Golf Coach of the Year

By Charles Balcom, Assistant LWC Sports Information Director

BOWLING GREEN, KY (Mon 24 Apr 2017) - Lindsey Wilson head coach Eric Wyrick was named the 2017 Mid-South Conference Men's Golf Coach of the Year, conference officials announced on Monday night during the conference's annual banquet held at the Bowling Green Country Club.

Wyrick led the men's golf team to the regular season championship this season. The Blue Raiders finished second at the MSC Fall Tournament before winning the MSC Spring Tournament to claim the regular season title.

It marks Wyrick's first MSC Coach of the Year honor in his fourth season at the helm of both the men's and women's programs. As a team, the men's team has won four events this season, adding a pair of runner-up finishes, two fourths and a fifth, placing in the top-five in all nine tournaments this year.
