Ivajean (Louise) Wilson, 75, Windsor, KY (1941-2017)

Louise Wilson warmed the world with her beautiful infectious smile, her beauty and her nurturing ways. She was a member of Canaan Valley Separate Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her flowers. Louise greatly enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. She was known for helping people and truly loving everyone. She was the widow of Jack Wilson. She leaves six direct living descendants.

Ivajean "Louise" Wilson, 75, of Windsor, KY, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Allen Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Bowmer Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Monday, April 17, 2017, at the funeral home.



Ivajean (Louise) Wilson, 75, Windsor, KY (1941-2017)


She was 75 years of age. Born on June 28, 1941 in Casey County, KY. She was the daughter of the late James Robert & Grace Myrtle Owens Luttrell. She died Saturday, April 15, 2017, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 75 years, nine months, and 18 days.

Louise was a member of Canaan Valley Separate Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her flowers. Louise greatly enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. She was known for helping people and truly loving everyone.

She is survived by:
  • One son: Russell Eugene Sayers of Windsor, KY

  • Two granddaughters: Tanya Jean (and Allen) Roberts of Nancy, KY; and Courtney Lee Dixon (and Scott) Patton of Windsor, KY

  • Three great-grandchildren: Gage Allen Roberts, Elijah Jessie Roberts, and Morgan Brystol Patton.
In addition to her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wilson, who passed away on March 4, 2013; and three brothers, Dewey Luttrell, Deward Luttrell, and Chester Ferry.
