Mr. Kenneth Lynn Milby, Green Co., KY (1937-2017)

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a lifelong member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. He was a carpenter by trade, retired from Fruit of the Loom, Inc. as a machine mechanic, and a lifelong farmer from the heart. His wife of 57 years, Inflice Finn Milby, survives. He leaves 20 direct living descendants.

The funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Lynn Milby will be conducted at 11amCT, , Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY,m with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY, with Bro. Dennis Penick and Bro. Larry Rowell officiating. Visitation is requested from 3pmCT until 8pmCT, , Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after Wednesday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Grant Curry, Tyler Curry, Tim Harris, Bill Gilpin, Todd Milby, Kyle Milby, Ronnie Curry, and Chris Carroll.

Honorary pallbearers: George Dearen, Russell Gray, Doug Smith, Robbie Wise, Dakota Wise, Vernon Cornett, Eudale Finn, Larry Handy, Clay Price, Neal Price, Jerry Price, Junior Smith, Robert Paxton, Joe Finn, Holland Milby, and the Adult Men's Sunday School Class.

Mr. Kenneth Lynn Milby, Green Co., KY (1937-2017)

Mr. Kenneth Lynn Milby of Green County, KY, son of the late Grady Owen Milby and Esther White Milby, was born on February 11, 1937 in Green County, KY; and went to be with his heavenly father on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was 80 years, one month, and 29 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a lifelong member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. He was a carpenter by trade, retired from Fruit of the Loom, Inc. as a machine mechanic, and a lifelong farmer from the heart.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Inflice Finn Milby of Green County having united in marriage on August 8, 1959.

Other survivors include:
  • Three daughters and sons-in-law: Karen Milby Gilpin and Bill Gilpin, Debbie Milby Harris and Tim Harris, Lisa Milby Curry and Ronnie Curry all of Green County, KY

  • Two sons and daughters-in-law: Todd and Dianna Milby, and Kyle and Katie Milby all of Green County, KY

  • Nine grandchildren: Holly Carroll and her husband, Chris of Oklahoma; Erin Harris of Elizabethtown, KY; Lacy Harris, Tyler Curry and his wife, Katie, Grant Curry and his wife, Natalie, Riley Milby, Dakota Milby, Ella Milby, and Mason Milby all of Green County, KY

  • Six great-grandchildren: Maggie & Reed Carroll, Parker & Daphne Curry, and Finn and Norah Curry

  • A brother: David H. Milby of Greensburg, KY

  • Special friends: Stanley and Lucretia Simpson, Marlena and Gary Hunt, Bill and Mae Handy, Helen Underwood, and Ronnie London

  • And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives

  • and many friends
Mr. Milby was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters: Gordon Milby, Russell Milby, Genieva Milby Penick, Bonnie Smith Strader, and Margaret Penick.
