News from Lindsey Wilson College

COLUMBIA, KY - (Tue 29 Mar 2017) The Lindsey Wilson baseball team split a non-conference doubleheader with Brescia (KY) on Tuesday night at Egnew Park.

The Blue Raiders (19-14) dropped the opener 8-7 after a comeback attempt came up short, but rallied for a 1-0 victory over the Bearcats (8-18) in the nightcap in a pair of scheduled seven-inning games. After combining for 24 in the opener, hits were at a premium in the nightcap as just three were managed total by the two teams. The Blue Raiders managed a season-low one hit, but that solo effort happened to be the game winner.
