Beulah Catherine (Judy) Stevens, 89, Hardyville, KY (1927-2017)

She had made a profession of faith in Christ was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Burt Asbury & Velma Holly Asbury and the widow of James Mark (Jim) Stevens, her husband of 38 years.

Mrs. Beulah Catherine (Judy) Stevens of Hardyville, KY, departed this life on Monday, March 20, 2017 at her home.

There will be graveside services for Mrs. Beulah Catherine (Judy) Stevens held at 12pmNoonCT, Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Hedgespeth Cemetery, with Bro. Terry Carmichael officiating.

Mrs. Beulah Catherine "Judy" Stevens of Hardyville, KY, daughter of the late Burt Asbury & Velma Holly Asbury, was born on April 2, 1927 in Green County, KY, and departed this life on Monday, March 20,2 017 at her home in Hardyville, KY. She was 89 years, 11 months, and 18 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to James Mark "Jim" Stevens in May of 1955 who preceded her in death on August 29, 1993.

Survivors include:
  • Two brothers and a sister: Casbel Asbury, Kenny Asbury both of Hardyville, KY, and America Jubil Pace of Caverna, KY

  • Special nieces and nephews: Celia and Steve Furlong of Horse Cave, KY; Vance Butler of Hardyville, KY; and Collen and Jim Jeffries of Science Hill, KY

  • and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
Mrs. Stevens was also preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers: Jeanie Russell, Coty Butler, Joyce Jolly, Ruel Asbury, Lendon Asbury, and Joe Asbury.
