Mark Hale: Most garbage truck drivers pick up lost garbage

They are working to keep county clean, not trash it

Mark Hale writes:
No doubt this fell off someone's garbage truck on the way to the dump.

All of those guys do a great job. I've seen them stop and go back and pick up bags that have fallen off the truck. Most times if the notice it they go back and get it. After all they are working to keep the county clean, not trash it.

Sometimes their trucks get really full on their route so once in a while they may lose a bag. It's not intentional, I'm sure. This was likely an accident that went unnoticed by the offender. All of our garbage guys do a great job. - Mark Hale
