Paul Buck, age 84, of Liberty, KY passed away on Monday March 20, 2017 at the Liberty Care Center, Liberty, KY.

Funeral Services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET, Saturday March 25, 2017 at Shady Grove Separate Baptist Church, 1327 Tennessee Ridge Road, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Richie Curtis officiating. Burial will be in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Friday, March 24, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, and after 10amCT/11amET on Saturday March 25th, 2017 at Shady Grove Separate Baptist Church.

He was born in Liberty, Casey County, KY on July 11, 1932. He was a son of the late Cordell H. & Bessie Pearl Withers Buck. He died Monday, March 20, 2017, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, ata the age of 84 years, eight months, and nine days.

Paul was a Farmer,a member and Deacon of Shady Grove Separate Baptist Church.

Paul was the widower of Eva Irene (Judy) Gilpin Buck who passed away on January 31, 1990. They were married on December 18, 1964.

Survivors include:
  • Three daughters: Paula and (Clinton) Price of Liberty, KY; Rhonda Walters and (the late Victor Walters) of Elizabethtown, KY; and Judy Gail and (Troy) Reed of Hustonville, KY

  • One son: Benjamin and (Kim) Buck of Liberty, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Andrew Walters of Elizabethtown, KY; and Richard and Justin Price and Kamron Buck all of Liberty, KY

  • Three sisters: Nina Hamm of Liberty, KY; Nellie Wilson of Loveland, OH; and Vannie McMahan of Cincinnati, OH.<
Preceding him in death besides his parents and spouse were two sons, Brad and Brian Buck; and one brother, Louie Buck.
