Lowell Crawley age 86 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Cumberland Valley Manor, Burkesville, KY.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 11amCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Vincent Cemetery. Family requests visitation after 3pmCT, on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.


Lowell Crawley, 86, Cumberland County, KY (1931-2017)


Lowell was born on March 01, 1931 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of the late Edwin Clyde & Vinnie Anderson Crawley. He died Sunday, March 19, 2017, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 86 years, 18 days.

He was a member of Sexton Fork Baptist Church and a farmer.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Allison Crawley, one nephew, Doyle Burns, and one niece, Roberta Burns.

Survivors include:
  • Two sisters: Lois Burns and her husband Robert of Burkesville, KY and Anna Lou Dicken

  • Six nephews: Hoyt Burns of Cynthiana, KY, Michael Burns of Jackson, MI, Dwight Burns of Burkesville, KY, Douglas Dicken of Crab Orchard, KY, Phillip Burns of Berea, KY, and James Dicken of Albany, KY

  • Two nieces: Denise Dicken of Albany, KY; and Marla Burns of Burkesville, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Harley Dicken of Albany, KY.
