Louise L. Hurt age 85 of Edmonton, KY, passed away at Metcalfe County Health Care Tuesday morning, March 14, 2017.

Funeral Services will be held 11amCT, Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in Moore-Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, March 17, 2017, from 5pm to 8pmCT, and after 9amCT, Saturday morning.


Louise (Brock) Hurt, Metcalfe County, KY (1931-2017)


She was born November 12, 1931, in Edmonton, Metcalfe County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Ed H. Brock & Eda Tabor Brock. She died Tuesday, March 14, 2017, in Edmonton, Metcalfe County, KY, at the age of 85 years, four months, and two days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by:
  • Two sisters: Dorothy Vibbert of Edmonton, KY; and Carolyn Pittman of Louisville, KY

  • Brothers-in-laws: Don Robertson and Kenneth Gibson both of Glasgow, KY; and Lois Hurt of Indiana.

  • Sisters-in-law: Betty Lou Robertson and Alice Sue Gibson

  • Several nieces and nephews
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Hurt as well as her two sons, Jerry and Donnie Hurt.
