Nancy worked various jobs in the Healthcare industry. She loved crafting and scrapbooking. She was the daughter of the late Harold Clifton Murphy, Sr. & Diane Leininger Murphy. Her beloved husband, James Matthew "Jim" Chansler, survives. She leaves two direct living descendants

Graveside services are 10amCT/11amET, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Murphy Cemetery with Bro. Gary Morris officiating. Burial will follow service. Visitation is at the Murphy Cemetery from 9amCT/10amET, until funeral service.


Nancy Jo Chansler, Windsor, KY/Adair Co. native (1979-2017)

Born September 20, 1979 in Adair County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Harold Clifton Murphy, Sr. & Diane Leininger Murphy. She died Wednesday, March 1, 2017, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 37 years, five months, and nine days.

Nancy worked various jobs in the Healthcare industry. She loved crafting and scrapbooking.

Survivors include her beloved husband, James Matthew "Jim" Chansler of Windsor, KY, and the following:
  • A son: Dylan Pittman of Windsor, KY

  • A daughter: Emily Pittman of Hustonville, KY

  • Two brothers, Harold "Spot" Murphy of Liberty, KY; and George Murphy of Windsor, KY
  • Five sisters: Vicki (Noel) Rodgers of Russell Springs, KY; Rita (Glen) Poff of Liberty, KY; Melissa (David) Hicks of Hustonville, KY; Connie (Roger) Wright of Liberty, KY; and Angie (James) Emerson of Windsor, KY

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
