Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 28 Feb 2017

Thirteen individuals from Campellsville, Greensburg, and Buffalo, KY received indictments for charges including flight, wanton endangerment, possession, fraud, receiving stolen property, burglary, assault, bail jumping, and trafficking.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 28 February 2017:


  • Christopher T. Richardson (05/09/1984), Gribbins Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00034. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Fleeing/Evading police, 1st degree (on foot). Count 2 - Resisting arrest. Count 3 - Carrying a concealed deadly weapon. Count 4 - Escape, 3rd degree. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • Melinda Hubbard (07/25/1965), Pruyear Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00035. Charged with 3 counts. Counts 1-3 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Bond set at $2,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness.

  • James R. Bagby, Jr. (08/27/1979), Oak Lane, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00036. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree. Count 2 - Possession of marijuana. Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $10,000/10%.

  • Joseph R. Reynolds (04/14/1984), N. Depot St., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00037. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Fraudulent use of credit card, $500-$10,000. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Dameon D. Devine (06/29/1989), Lincoln Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00038. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, MCR reporting and testing two times per month.

  • Christopher Simpson (12/01/1989), Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00039. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property under $10,000. Bond set at $10,000/10%, no contact with victim/premises.

  • Justin W. Keith (06/28/1987), Jan St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00040. Charged with 10 counts. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property, $10,000 or more. Count 2 - Fleeing or evading police, 1st degree (motor vehicle). Counts 3-5 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree (police officer). Count 6 - Criminal mischief, 2nd degree. Count 7 - Criminal mischief, 3rd degree. Count 8 - Speeding 15MPH over limit. Count 9 - Reckless driving. Count 10 - Persisten felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • Christopher L. Anderson (03/17/1987), Bowman St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00041. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Bond set at $1,000 unsecured, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Crystal M. Butler (12/22/1983), A. C. Underwood Rd., Buffalo, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00042. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $15,000/10%, no contact with victim.

  • Christopher Dicken (12/14/1989), Davis St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00043. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Assault, 4th degree (domestic violence), 3rd+ within 5 years. Count 2 - Alcohol intoxication in public place, 3rd+ within 12 months. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Patrick L. Greer (10/16/1984), Yarberry Ln., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00044. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Bail jumping, 1st degree. Bond set at $10,000 full cash.

  • William C. McKenzie (09/25/1987), Whispering Meadows, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00045. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 2st degree, 2nd+ offense, <4g cocaine. Count 2 - Possession of marijuana. Count 3 - Failure to or improper signal. Count 4 - No/Expired Kentucky registration plates. Count 5 - No/Expired Kentucky registration receipt. Bond set at $10,000 cash.

  • John T. Veltman, Jr. (02/26/1979), Vaughn St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00046. Charged with 9 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Fleeing or evading police, 2nd degree (on foot). Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 4 - Resisting arrest. Count 5 - Failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance/security, 1st offense. Count 6 - Failure to notify address change to Department of Transportation. Count 7 - Operate motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs/etc, .08 1st offense. Count 8 - Failure to wear seat belts. Count 9 - Failure to improper signal. Bond set at $500 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.
