Randall (Shorty) Lee Walker, age 76, of Beaumont, KY, died Monday, February 27, 2017, at his residence.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at 1pmCT at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, with Bro Paul Davidson and Bro Stoney Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Skaggs Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 28, from 11am-9pmCT and on Wednesday after 7amCT until time of services.

Randall (Shorty) Lee Walker, Beaumont, KY (1940-2017)

Born November 1, 1940, in Tompkinsville, Monroe County, KY, he was a son of the late Luther & Emma Bushong Walker. He died Monday, February 27, 2017, in Beaumont, KY at the age of 76 years, three months, and 26 days.

He had retired from Anderson Forrest Products after working 47 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

His wife, Judy Ann Stinson Walker, survives.

Survivors besides his wife, include:
  • Two sons: Randy (April) Walker, Beaumont, KY; and Joe Lee Walker, Tompkinsville, KY

  • One step son: Robbie (Cathy) Bush, Glasgow, KY

  • One step daughter: Melissa (Timmy) Young, Summer Shade, KY

  • One grandson: Luke Walker

  • Two step grand daughters Caleigh Self and Jordan Bratcher.
He was preceded in death besides his parents; by three sisters, Nina Pearl Curtis, Julie Collins, and an infant sister; and one brother, Joe Eagle Walker.
