Fern was a member of Red Banks United Methodist Church and a former employee of OshKosh B'Gosh. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Huddleston; and three brothers, Stanley Spears, Lloyd Spears, and Keen Spears. Survivors include:
