Bobby Joe Woodrum, 76, of Liberty, KY passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 at the University Of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services will be at 11amCT/12pmET, Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Dunnville Church of God, 13035 South US 127, Dunnville, KY, with Bro. Ted Stidham and Bro. J.R Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Whited Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Honor Guard. Visitation is 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Monday, February 28, 2017, the Dunnville Church of God and will continue Tuesday from 8amCT/9amET, until funeral service.



Pallbearers are Russell Jones, Matthew Yazell, David Miller, Garland Stacy, Elijah Pitman and Jason Allen. Honorary pallbearers are Bruce Edwards, J.R. Grant, Bethany Stacy, Ashley Stacy and Brad Woodrum.

Bobby Joe Woodrum, 76, Casey County, KY (1941-2017)

Born February 5, 1941 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Everett & Rena Grant Woodrum. He died Friday February 24, 2017, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 76 years, 19 days.

He was retired from the Ford Motor Company and was an US Army veteran. Bobby was a member of the Dunnville Church of God. He loved to hunt and fish and he enjoyed detailing cars.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jones Woodrum of Liberty, whom he married September 4, 1992, and the following:
  • Three sons: Bradley (and Joyce) Woodrum of Louisville, KY; Randy (and Nataliya) Yazell of Liberty, KY; and Keith (and Gabriella) of Frankfort, KY

  • Two daughters: Betsy Jo and (Garland) Stacy of Shelbyville, KY; and Darla (and David) Miller of Finchville, KY

  • Sixteen grandchildren

  • A great-grandchild

  • A sister: Betty (Norman) Bastin of Liberty, KY
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Billy Woodrum; and a granddaughter, Krystina Yazell.
