Charlotte Gaby, 91, Taylor Co., KY (1925-2017)

She was a native of Cadillac, MI, and a resident of Campbellsville, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daugther of the late Clarence & Flossie Elliott Rossell, and the widow of Marvin Leroy Gaby, her husband of over 51 years. She leaves 20 direct living plus one great grandson she was eager to meet living descendants.

Mrs. Charlotte Gaby, age 91, of Campbellsville, KY, died Saturday, February 11, in Campbellsville after an illness.

Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte Gaby will be held at 12pmCT/1pmET, Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, with Dr. Mike O'Neal officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, 200 block, W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Serving as casket bearers are Johnathan Gaby, Jeffrey Gaby, Robert Gaby, David Gaby, Kevin Gaby, Chad Gaby, Donn Gaby, Chris Nixon and Andy Curnow. The family request visitation 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Monday, February 13, 2017 at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.



Charlotte Gaby, 91, Taylor Co., KY (1925-2017)

Charlotte was born May 7, 1925 in Cadillac, MI. She was the daughter of the late Clarence & Flossie Elliott Rossell. She died Saturday, February 11, 2017, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 91 years, nine months, and four days.

On November 6, 1942, she was united in marriage to Marvin Leroy Gaby who preceded her in death on March 12, 1990.

Also, preceding her in death were her brothers, Clarence, Marvin and Gerald Rossell and her sisters, Dorothy Spragg, Agnes Rossell and Thelma Gomer.

She is survived by:
  • Four sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory and Linda Gaby of Frankfort, KY; Ronald and Lorna Gaby and Donald and Donna Gaby all of Michigan; and Craig and Marla Gaby of Texas

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Seven great-grandchildren and one great grandson she was eager to meet.
