W.R. Robison, Taylor Co., KY/Adair Co., KY native (1951-2017)

He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Cox Interior and Sherwin-Williams. He was the son of the late Everett Robison & Rosa Eastridge Robison. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kay Parker Robison. He leaves three direct living descendants. He was an avid hunter and fisherman; he also enjoyed his time spent coaching little league baseball.

W. R. Robison, 65, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 5:15pmCT/6:15pmET, Friday, February 10, 2017 in Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, Monday, February 13, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY by by Rev. A. Landon Hadley and Rev. Don Gowin. Burial will be in Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Sunday, February 12, 2017.



W.R. Robison, Taylor Co., KY/Adair County native (1951-2017)


W. R. Robison was the son of the late Everett Robison & Rosa Eastridge Robison. He was born in Adair County, KY, September 25, 1951. He died Friday, February 10, 2017 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY at the age of 65 years, four months, and 16 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

He was a former employee of Cox Interior and Sherwin Williams.

W. R. was an avid hunter and fisherman; he also enjoyed his time spent coaching little league baseball.

He united in marriage to Kaye Parker March 13, 1971.

Besides his wife, Kaye Robison, he is survived by:
  • A son: Michael Robison and wife, Jamie of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Landon Robison and Riley Robison

  • Two brothers and two sisters: Dallard Robison and M. C. Robison of Louisville, KY; Rita Keltner of Campbellsville, KY; and Garnettia Knifley of Knifley, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • and many other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister: Alvin Junior Robison, Ivan Haskel Robison, Wigg Robison, Chester Robison and Flora Ester Robison.
