Kayla Styles, is MSC Women's Basketball Player of Week

COLUMBIA, KY (Mon 6 Feb 2017) - Kayla Styles is the Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

The junior from Louisville, KY recorded her 10th double-double of the season in the Blue Raiders' win over No. 8 Campbellsville (KY) 77-72 on Thursday.



She scored 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting, while grabbing 14 rebounds in the game. Styles capped off the contest recording six assists and five blocks, to go along with a steal for the Blue Raiders.

With the win last week, Lindsey Wilson moves to 23-0 on the season and 9-0 in the Mid-South.

Styles earns her second weekly honor of the season and of her career.
