The funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Jean Whitlow Elkins will be conducted at 11amCT, Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Holly Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery, with Bro. Leslie Jewell and Bro. Dennis Penick officiating. Visitation is requested from 4pm until 8pmCT, Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, and from 7am until 8amCT, Thursday morning at the funeral home. Visitation will resume at 9amCT, Thursday at the Holly Grove Baptist Church until time of the funeral service. She was 69 years, six months, and four days of age. She was 69 years, six months, and four days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Holly Grove Baptist Church where she played the piano.
