Bonnie Ruth Pfaff Austin, 71, Russell County, KY (1945-2017)

She was a nurses' aide and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist church. She was a native of Ellettsville, IN, and a resident of Jamestown, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Delmar & Mary Pfaff. Her husband, Charles Hugh Austin, survives. She leaves 17 direct and five step living descendants.

Bonnie Ruth Austin, 71, of Jamestown, KY, died Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Russell Co. Hospital Hospice Unit, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral service for Bonnie Ruth Austin will be at 1pmCT, Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Stan Milby officiating. Visitation will be 5pm-7pmCT, Sunday, February 5, 2017, and after 8amCT, Monday. Interment will be in the Thomastown Cemetery. Eastern Star service will be at 6:30pmCT, by Eastern Star Chapter #432. Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs in charge of arrangements

She was born November 8, 1945 in Ellettsville, IN. She was the daughter of the late Delmar & Mary Pfaff. She died Thursday, February 2, 2017, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 71 years, two months, and 25 days.

She was a nurses' aide and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist church.

Survivors include the following:
  • Husband: Charles Hugh Austin, Jamestown, KY

  • Son: Phillip Hugh Austin, Russell Springs, KY

  • Five step children: Greg Austin, Russell Springs, KY; Marilyn Stafford, Liberty, KY; Diana Stapp, Russell Springs, KY; JoAnn Brawn, Red Bud, IL; and Charlene Skaggs, Russell Springs, KY

  • Six grandchildren

  • Ten great grandchildren

  • Three sisters

  • One brother
