Beverly Kay Pennington, 56, of Tompkinsville, KY, formerly of Columbia, died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 9:29pmCT, at her home.

Funeral services at 1pmCT, Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Jimmie Cox officiating. Burial will be in Bragg Cemetery, 100 Bragg Cemetery Road, Adair County, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the funeral home.



Casket bearers: Brian Pennington, Cecil Ray Pennington, Adam McClaron, Jeff Blankenship, Harlan Jessie and Chris Keith

Honorary casket bearers: Beverly's grandchildren and Dennis Richards.

Beverly Kay Pennington, 56, Monroe Co./Adair Co., KY native (1960-2017)


She was born November 16, 1960, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Harlan Dudley Jessie, Sr., & Linda Kay Sneed Jessie Keith. She died Wednesday, February 1, 2017, in Tompkinsville, Monroe County, KY, at the age of56 years, two months, and 16 days.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harlan Dudley Jessie, Sr., her mother, Linda Kay Sneed Jessie Keith and her husband, Charlie Vernon Keith, Sr. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Billy Joe Turner, and a granddaughter, Kendra Pennington. She was a former medical technician.

Survivors include:
  • Her husband: Jerry Pennington of Tompkinsville, KY

  • One son: Chuck (Kelly) Pennington of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Jamie Turner (Dennis Richards) of Tompkinsville, KY

  • Two brothers: Harlan (Dana) Jessie of Campbellsville, KY, and Chris Keith of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Angie (Jeff) Blankenship of Columbia, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren
