The funeral services for Jessie Riley Shoopman will be conducted at 11amCT, Saturday, January 28, 2017, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Burkesville Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY with full military rites conducted by the DAV Post #105. Visitation is requested 2pm-8pmCT, Friday, January 27, 2017, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Saturday until time of the funeral service. There will be graveside services held at 2pmCT, Saturday at the Burkesville Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jeremiah Shoopman, Jerry Holley, Steve Hoots, Jeff Hoots, David Scott, and Branden Shoopman. Jessie Riley Shoopman, 83, Greensburg, KY (1933-2017) Mr. Jessie Riley Shoopman of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Charlie Riley Shoopman and Ruby Dyer Shoopman, was born on October 18, 1933 in Cumberland County, Kentucky and departed this life on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 83 years, three months, and six days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Jesus Name Church in Campbellsville. He was retired from Edmonton Manufacturing after 56 years of employment. Mr. Shoopman was also a Korean War Veteran having served in the United States Army from 1953 until 1961. He is survived by:
