Lindsey Wilson's Kapres is MSC Men's Bowler of the Week

COLUMBIA, KY (Tue 24 Jan 2017) - Eli Kapres is the Mid-South Conference Men's Bowler of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday. The junior from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania recorded a pair of top-20 finishes over the weekend while averaging a score of 177.6 over 10 games.



He started the week with an 18th-place finish at the Muskingum (Ohio) Muskie Mash with a 183.0 average, which was an average of 9.89 pins better than the field. The Blue Raiders finished in eighth place at the event.

At the West Virginia University Mountaineer Classic, Kapres finished 12th averaging 172.2. He had an average that was 5.74 pins greater the field at the event. Lindsey Wilson took home first place at the event out of six teams.

Kapres earns his first bowler of the week honor of the season and of his career.
