Columbia PD arrests 5 more in drug trafficking sweep Total in sweep now 18. Ages of those taken into custody, Round 2, range from 21years old to 57. Investigation continues by Det. Brad Scholl. Next earlier article, this ongoing story: Columbia PD arrests 7 more in Round 2, drug trafficking sweep Note: An individual charged by police or in a warrant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding. By Ofc . Josh Brockman, Public Information Officer Columbia Police Department, Chief Jason Cross Columbia Police have arrested five more suspects in latest drug sweep. This brings total to 23 people who have been charged for Trafficking Controlled Substances in the City of Columbia and Adair County. Arrested were : - Brian West, age 36 – Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, 1st offense.All suspects were lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
