Wilma Lee Bryant, 78 of Campbellsville, died Saturday, January 21, 2017 in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, with Rev. Joel Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, 200 Block of W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. The family requests visitation 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, January 23, 2017,at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.



Wilma Bryant, 78, Taylor Co., KY (1938-2017)


A daughter of the late John Rogers and Sarah Ramsey Rogers, she was born March 8, 1938 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 10 months, and 13 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church. Wilma enjoyed many years in the restaurant and catering business. Cooking was a true passion of hers. She often said, "When I get to heaven I hope they let me cook". Wilma also established Magnolia Alley as a family business.

She united in marriage to Leonard W. Bryant in 1954, who survives. Besides her husband, she is survived by:
  • Two daughters and one son: Kathy and Todd English, Tammy and Rick Gwynn and Winn Bryant

  • Two granddaughters: Candice and David Thorsen and Amanda and Hector Gaspar

  • Three great-grandchildren: Beckham Thorsen, Carter Richerson and Sofia Gaspar

  • Two sisters: Fran and Marshall Fletcher, Pensacola, FL; and Judy Keen of Scottsville, KY

  • A special friend: Marcia Beard of Glasgow, KY

  • Brothers and sisters-in-law: Bobby Bryant, Buddy Bryant, Mrs. Willard (Helen) Bryant, Raymond and Faye Bryant and Janice Harmon

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
