He was a member of the Russell Springs United Baptist Church and of an esteemed Russell County family. He was the son of the late Brent Weddle & Sarah Rainwater Gosser. He was married to Daphene Sullivan Gosser, who survives, for 47 years. He leaves one son, Dennis Gosser, Russell Springs, KY.

Kenneth Ray Gosser, 73, of Russell Springs, KY, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at his home.

Funeral services for Kenneth Gosser will be 11amCT, Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Ronald Wilson officiating. Visitation will be 6pm-8pmCT, Thursday, January 12, 2017 and after 8amCT, Friday. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Russell County, KY.



Kenneth Ray Gosser, 73, Russell Co., KY (1943-2017)


He was born April 25, 1943 in Pulaski County, KY. He was the son of the late Brent Weddle & Sarah Rainwater Gosser. He died Tuesday, January 10, 2017, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 73 years, eight months, and 16 days.

He was a member of Russell Springs United Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Melson, and Wanda Wilson; and two brothers, Donald Gosser and Jimmy Gosser. He was married to Daphene Sullivan Gosser, who survives, for 47 years.

  • One son: Dennis Gosser, Russell Springs, KY

  • One brother: Leonard Gosser, Franklin, IN
