Green County had the highest deer harvest number in the 7-County area in 2016, according to figures posted January 1, 2017, by the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife:

  1. Green County, KY - 1515 deer harvested, 2016
  2. Adair County, KY - 1021 deer harvested 2016
  3. Metcalfe County, KY - 996 deer harvested 2016
  4. Casey County, KY - 912 deer harvested 2016
  5. Taylor County, KY - 904 deer harvested 2016
  6. Cumberland County, KY - 895 deer harvested 2016
  7. Russell County, KY - 902 deer harvested 2016
