Phyllis Earls Dickens age 66 years of Peytona, WV, formerly of Adair County, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016.

Funeral service will be at 10amCT/11amET, Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Altha Chapel at Drawdy, near Peytona, WV. Visitation will be 9am-10amCT/10am-11amET, at the Altha Chapel. Interment will be in the Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV.

She was born on April 4, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Jack & Lucille Morrison Earls of Adair County, KY. She died Thursday, November 17, 2016, in West Virginia, at the age of 66 years, seven months, and 13 days.

She was preceded in death by one sister Margaret Branigan
She is survived by her husband, Ray Dickens of West Virginia, and the following:
  • Four children: Sherry Dickens of West Virginia; Sheila Dickens of Maryland; Ray Dickens of West Virginia; and Zane Dickens of Nashville, TN

  • Three brothers: Roy Morrison of Chicago, IL; Coy Morrison of Russell Springs, KY; and Ray Morrison of Columbia, KY

  • Four sisters: Gay Alexander of Columbia, KY; Donetta Hernandez of Chicago, IL; Janice Dulworth of Columbia, KY; and Jacquline

  • Eight granchildren

  • Nine great grandchildren

  • Nieces and nephews

  • And a host of other family and friends
