Joann Morgan, 80, 52 Lacy Lane, Jamestown, KY, died Friday, December 16, 2016, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral services will be at 2pmCT, Sunday, December 18, 2016, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Daryl Pelston and Bro. Wendell Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.



Joann Morgan, 80, Russell County, KY (1936-2016)

She was born February 3, 1936, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Lilburn & Verna Loy Wooldridge. She died Friday, December 16, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 80 years, 10 mohts and 13 days.

She was a homemaker.

Se is survived by the following:
  • A son: Wendell Morgan, Wallace, SC

  • A daughter: Vickie Hayes, Gahanna, Ohio

  • A sister: Juanita Miller, Jamestown, KY

  • Four brothers: Shelby Wooldridge and Lovel Wooldridge, both of Jamestown, KY; and Albert Wooldridge and Merrill Wooldridge, both of Indiana

  • Two grandchildren

  • Two great grandchildren

  • And a host of nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Forest Morgan, one sister, Laverne Coe; two brothers, Loy and Eulis Woodldridge; and one grandson, Christopher Morgan.
