Mr. Jerry Wayne Adams, 62, of Burkesville, KY, died Thursday, December 15, 2016, at The Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville, KY.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 3pmCT, in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Burial will be in the Burkesville Cemetery in Burkesville, KY. The family will receive friends after 1pmCT on Saturday, December 17, 2016 until the funeral hour on Sunday.

Mr. Jerry Wayne Adams, was born in Glasgow, Barren County, KY on Thursday, December 9, 1954. He was the son of Bruce and Virginia Fisher Adams. He died on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at The Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville, KY, having attained the age of 62 years and 6 days.

He was of Christian faith and a truck driver for Ryder Logistics.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Adams, and several half-brothers and half-sisters. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Smith Adams of Burkesville, KY and the following:
  • His children: Nikki (and John) McCloughan of Burkesville, KY; Steven (and Jessi) Adams of Scottsville, KY; Michael Adams (his fiancee Nicole) of Glasgow, KY; Jason Adams of Columbia, KY; and Jenny Roy of Russell Springs, KY

  • His siblings, Ricky (and Margaret) Adams, Arlene (and Freddy) Mutter, both of Glasgow, KY

  • His grandchildren: Jordan, Caleb, Coty, Andria, Dalton, Brianna, Jordan, Justin

  • And his great-grandchildren: Rita Beth, Cash, and Wyatt.
