Bulletin: HWY 55 S Adair rollover injury accident near Russell Co.

Travelers are urged to avoid Russell Springs Highway between Garr Ridge Road and Antle-Loy Road. Power lines are down.

Authorities are still on the scene of a rollover accident from early this morning on HWY 55 south in Russell County near the Adair/Russell line.

Dispatchers report the accident is between Garr Ridge Rd and Antle Loy Road. The area is not passable and people are asked to avoid the area as power lines were down.

Russell County Dispatch received the call around 4:30 this morning. One person has been taken to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital with injuries.

Also,some Adair County residents in the area have reported school buses have been unable to pass to pick up several students in that vicinity.
