James Paul Wilson, 68, of Hillview, Kentucky, formerly of Adair County, died Friday, December 9, 2016 at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Funeral service will be at 11amCT/12pmNoonET Monday, December 12, 2016 at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S Buckman St, Shepherdsville, KY, with burial in Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be 1pm-7pmCT/2pm-8pmET, Sunday, December 11, 2016, and after 8amCT/9amET, Monday, at the funeral home.



Survivors include:
  • His wife: Jan Wilson of Hillview, KY

  • One daughter: Laurie Dixon

  • Three sons: James Jeffery Wilson (Samantha), Jeremy Shawn Wilson (Stephanie), Anthony Thomas Wilson (Pamela)

  • A daughter-in-law: Hope Wilson

  • Four brothers: Johnnie Ray Wilson of Edmonton, KY; William Wilson of Michigan, David & Steve Wilson both of Columbia, KY<

  • Four sisters: Carol Burton of Bardstown, KY; Kay Rogers of Shepherdsville, KY; and Debbie Rogers of Shelbyville, KY; and Bobbie Antle of Russell Springs, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Seven great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnie and Ruby Janes Wilson, a son, Paul David Wilson and a sister, Bonnie Bradshaw.

Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S Buckman St, Shepherdsville, KY is in charge of arrangements.
