Frankie Lynn Gooch, 52, Kings Mountain, KY (1964-2016)

He was a forklift operator for American Greetings and attended Grove Ridge Baptist Church. He was an avid UK fan and loved Nascar, especially Dale Earnhardt. He was the son of Adolphus Gooch, who survives, and the late Shirley Napier Gooch. He leaves four direct living descendants.

Frankie Lynn Gooch, 52, of Kings Mountain, KY passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Casey County Hospital, Liberty, KY.

Funeral services will be held 10amCT/11amET, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Tim Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the K.P. Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Monday evening, December 12, 2016, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers will be Jeff Greer, Clayton Crawley, Junior Rayborn, Jimmy Horn, Ben Bentley, Jacob Rayborn, Jeremi Luttrell and Cody Cooch.


Frankie Lynn Gooch, 52, Kings Mountain, KY (1964-2016)


Born September 26, 1964 in Lincoln County, KY, he was the son of Adolphus Gooch and the late Shirley Napier Gooch. He died Saturday, December 10, 106, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 52 years, two months, and 14 days.

Frankie was a forklift operator for American Greetings and attended Grove Ridge Baptist Church. He was an avid UK fan and loved Nascar, especially Dale Earnhardt.

Besides his father, survivors include:
  • His two children: James Michael Gooch and Jennifer Aleasha Lynn Gooch, both of Kings Mountain, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Leah and Braylynn

  • One brother: Johnny Wayne (Carol) Gooch of Kings Mountain, KY

  • Two sisters: Pam (Clayton) Crawley of Kings Mountain, KY; and Tammy (Jimmy) Horn of Stanford, KY
