She was the daughter of the late Ruel A. Page & Fannie May Petty Page and the widow of Delbert Janes. She leaves 13 direct living descendants.

Maymie Janes age 90 years of Columbia, KY passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 2amCT, at Sunrise Manor in Hodgenville, KY

Funeral service will be at 11amCT, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. William R. Davenport the officiating clergy. Interment in Antioch Cemetery, 3422 Wheeler Hill Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation willl be after 4pmCT, Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at the funeral home.



Maymie Janes, 90, Adair County, KY (1926-2016)

She was born on March 9, 1926 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Ruel A. Page & Fannie May Petty Page. She died Sunday, November 20, 2016, in Hodgenville, LaRue County, KY, at the age of 90 years, eight months, and 11 days.

She was the widow of Delbert Janes, who preceded her in death on September 8, 1992. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Ann Janes Gumm on August 25, 2004; and two sisters, Estill Bardin and Christine Coomer

She is survived by the following:
  • One son: Noah (Pearl) Janes of Hodgenville, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Mark Campbell, Kim Campbell, Vicki Robertson, and Kristi Burden

  • Eight great grandchildren

  • And several other relatives and friends
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and had worked at Osh Kosh B'Gosh in Columbia, KY.
