WHITEWATER, WI - The No. 20-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team lost to Wisconsin/Whitewater Saturday, November 19, 2016 in the Gabe Miller Classic at the Kachel Gymnasium.



Charles Sutton was one of three Blue Raiders (7-3) in double-figures with a team-high 19 points. Marshall Griffith chipped in with 14 points off the bench and Nic Brown had 10 points.

Lindsey Wilson shot 55 percent from the field however the Warhawks (2-0) held an advantage at the free throw line going 24-of-31 while the Blue Raiders were 8-of-18 from the foul line.

After being down 13 at the half the Blue Raiders found themselves down 17 points less than two minutes into the second half. Lindsey Wilson went on an 11-0 run to cut the lead to six with 15:56 remaining in the second half. The Blue Raiders cut the Warhawks lead to three with 5:38 remaining in the game. Wisconsin Whitewater responded with a quick 5-0 run to start to pull away.

Chris Jones of the Warhawks led all scorers with 32 points.
